Everything we publish is meant to help enterprise buyers make high-value Citrix licensing decisions. Because those decisions carry real financial weight, we hold our content to a standard you can hold us to. This page sets out exactly how it is produced.
Who writes our content
Every article carries a named author. Our research is written by the firm's two co-founders — Fredrik Filipsson and Morten Andersen — each with 20 years in enterprise software licensing, including a background at Cisco. There are no anonymous or ghost-written posts: the byline names the person accountable for the page.
How content is reviewed
Each article is written by one co-founder and reviewed by the other before it is published. The reviewer is named in the byline ("Reviewed by …") and recorded in the page's structured data. Because both reviewers are practitioners who negotiate Citrix agreements for a living, review is a substantive check on accuracy and current practice, not a formality.
How we source claims
Where a fact comes from the vendor, we link the vendor's own notice — for example, the official Citrix notice on the License Activation Service and the 2026 changes. Where a figure is reported by customers or the trade press rather than published by the vendor — such as the widely reported 50%–200% renewal increases — we say so plainly rather than presenting it as official. Quantified outcomes in our case studies are anonymised composites of real engagements, labelled as illustrative, never guarantees.
How we date and update content
Time-sensitive claims about Citrix pricing, packaging, or policy carry an "as of" date, and every article shows a published and a last-updated date. When Cloud Software Group changes packaging, pricing, or licensing rules, we update the affected articles and revise the date rather than leaving stale guidance in place.
